Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy – picturo.eu

At booking-picturo.eu, we value your trust and look forward to creating unique photographic memories for you at our destinations in Greece and Italy. To ensure fairness and transparency, this Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy outlines your rights and obligations when booking a photoshoot through our webshop.

1. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumer Law)

According to Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights, the general right of withdrawal within 14 days for online purchases does not apply to services related to leisure activities, when the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.

Since our photoshoots are scheduled for a fixed date and time, bookings made via booking-picturo.eu are excluded from the standard 14-day withdrawal right. The following cancellation and rescheduling conditions therefore apply.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Free Cancellation: You may cancel your photoshoot booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment free of charge.

  • Late Cancellation: If you cancel less than 48 hours before your appointment, or do not show up at the agreed location and time, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the booking fee.

Refunds for timely cancellations will be processed using the same payment method you used at the time of booking.

3. Rescheduling Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Therefore:

  • Changes of Date/Time: You may request a change of date or time for your photoshoot up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, subject to photographer availability.

  • Less than 24 Hours: We cannot guarantee any changes requested less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment, and in such cases, the full booking fee may apply.

4. Weather Conditions

Photography is often best in natural conditions, including light clouds. Please note:

  • Ideal Conditions: Cloudy weather often provides soft, flattering light and does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation or rescheduling.

  • Severe Weather Exceptions: In cases of very heavy rain, storms, or extreme weather that make the photoshoot impossible or unsafe, rescheduling is permitted free of charge.

  • Rescheduling Due to Weather: Any rescheduled session will be arranged at the earliest possible date and time, in coordination with both you and the photographer.

5. Photographer’s Cancellations

In the unlikely event that picturo.eu or one of our photographers must cancel your appointment (e.g., due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered:

  • A free reschedule to another date/time, or

  • A full refund of the booking fee.
